Dr. Farah Palmer / Former Black Ferns Captain

Department of Management at Massey University

Dr. Farah Palmer is a lecturer in the Department of Management at Massey University and a former captain of New Zealand's women's undisputed national rugby union team, the Black Ferns. In December 2016, Farah was appointed as the first female board member for Rugby New Zealand.

She has a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy and a Bachelors in Physical Education from Otago University. Farah has also won several awards and scholarships and holds myriad leadership roles and in governance, sports and academia.

Vaughn Davis / The Goat Farm

Owner & Creative Director

Vaughn is the owner and creative director of advertising and social media business, The Goat Farm. He has a particular passion for using social media to help businesses connect with people. In 2010, he wrote New Zealand’s first book on social media, Tweet this Book, which has so far had over 25,000 readers worldwide. He also hosts Sunday Social, a weekly programme on Radio Live that talks about social media, apps and the internet.


Ed McKnight / Hatch

Marketing Manager

Hatch is a company of digital gurus who put people first. Their aim is to guide New Zealand business owners toward a digitally led future through a mix of automation, web design and app development. Focusing on the human connection is central to Ed and the team’s work at Hatch. They don’t believe in quick fixes or following fads.

Ed is also the President of the Auckland Young Professionals, the Founder of the NZ Young Professionals Podcast, and an active member of the Institute of Directors.


Darren Linton / Yellow

Chief Marketing Officer & Acting CEO

Before returning to New Zealand, Darren spent 18 years in the UK where he held a variety of senior marketing leadership roles with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Universal Pictures and The Walt Disney Company. He was also managing director of the creative agency Zero Degrees West, in London.

Darren took over the reins as Yellow’s CMO in November 2015 and has recently been appointed Acting CEO. His extensive executive-level experience in the digital marketing space is instrumental to shaping Yellow’s future strategy.


James Boult / Yellow

Marketing Manager Digital Acquisition

James has polished his passion for media and marketing, having worked with leading global brands such as Cadbury, V Energy and Mountain Dew. He is strategic and creative, and draws inspiration from many years of digital product development as he leads Yellow’s Digital Acquisition and Search Marketing teams.

James loves helping Kiwi businesses bring their vision to life, and to tell their stories in ways they’ve never thought of before.
